How God views you
Motherhood has taught me so much about how God sees us as His children, how He loves us, how He teaches us lessons, how He holds certain things back from us and gives us other blessings that sometimes we didn’t even know to ask for. So many times I’ve been reminded of Gods ways by His Spirit repeating my own words back to me when I’ve told my oldest son to keep going that he’s doing a great job, or that I’m so proud of you for making a good decision, or when I’ve tried to explain that he can’t have the entire box of cookies because it’ll hurt his tummy to which he meets me with a no-more-cookie-meltdown & many other great examples that if I wasn’t working off of several hours of sleep I could share (thanks to sweet baby Hudson). God says those same sweet things to us today this Monday morning... “Keep going you’re doing a great job.” “I’m proud of you for making the right decision.” And even though it may not be a no-more-cookie-meltdown, there are so many things we seem to get upset about in life when we don’t get what we want; God knows what’s best and will provide His best at the best time. Trust Him. Look to Him. He has not abandoned you. You’re not stranded. Keep going, you’re doing a great job. Happy Monday friends. ••• “Why would you ever complain, O Jacob, or, whine, Israel, saying, “ GOD has lost track of me. He doesn’t care what happens to me”? Don’t you know anything? Haven’t you been listening? GOD doesn’t come and go. God lasts. He’s Creator of all you can see or imagine. He doesn’t get tired out, doesn’t pause to catch his breath. And he knows everything, inside and out. He energizes those who get tired, gives fresh strength to dropouts. For even young people tire and drop out, young folk in their prime stumble and fall. But those who wait upon GOD get fresh strength. They spread their wings and soar like eagles, They run and don’t get tired, they walk and don’t lag behind.” Isaiah 40:27-31 Message Version
