Honesty

Keep your word. Say what you mean and mean what you say. Live and work with honesty, openness and integrity; keep your promises and live a life based on Phillippians 4:8 that says, “Finally, brothers and sisters: whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable — if anything is excellent or praiseworthy — think about such things. Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me — put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.” Living a life of honesty will lead you to a life of peace. Truth will always bring freedom and a release that can feel like a weight has been lifted off of you. In Psalm 25:21 it says, “integrity and uprightness preserve me, for I wait for and expect in the Lord.” Being a person of integrity and uprightness is something that no one will ever be able to take away from you. Your reputation will speak for itself and honesty will bring you peace all of your days. Choose truth. Choose honesty. Choose integrity.
